We make chocolate in England and send it out in boxes. If you are buying for a team, for clients, or for an event, this page covers how that works and what it costs.
All prices on this page are shown excluding VAT. Consumer prices elsewhere on this site include it.
What we sell
One box at present: twelve milk chocolate bars, 340g, in a rigid box. Six varieties, two bars of each: macadamia, pecan, brazil nut, honey-roasted peanut, mango, and cranberry with pistachio.
A brazil nut bar in milk and in dark is in preparation. [TBC: whether the bars are available for corporate orders at launch, and at what price.]
Prices
| Item | Ex VAT | Inc VAT |
|---|---|---|
| Milk Chocolate Bars, box of 12, 340g | [TBC: corporate price ex VAT] | £24.00 at consumer price |
[TBC: quantity discount ladder. A common shape is 5% from £500, 7% from £1,500 and 10% from £5,000, but the figures here need to be yours before this page goes live.]
[TBC: minimum order quantity.]
Lead times
[TBC: standard lead time from order to despatch, and the lead time when boxes are branded.]
[TBC: Christmas ordering cut-off. Most suppliers in this trade close orders at the end of October.]
Every box is sent with at least eight weeks to its best-before date, so an order placed for an event some weeks ahead will still arrive with life left in it.
What we can do
- Branding. [TBC: which options exist. A printed belly-band around the box and a foil-blocked lid are the two usual routes, with different minimums and lead times.]
- Gift messages. A message card in each box, the same message throughout or different messages per recipient.
- Split delivery to many addresses. Send us the list and we post to each one. This is how most client gifting runs, and there is no surcharge for splitting an order.
- Purchase orders. Send us a PO number and it appears on the invoice.
- VAT invoices. Issued for every order, with our VAT number on them. [TBC: VAT number.]
- Payment terms. [TBC: bank transfer on invoice, card link, and whether any credit terms are offered.]
Allergens and dietary
Read this before ordering for a group. You will not know who in a recipient list has an allergy, so the safe assumption is that someone does.
Milk Chocolate Bars, box of 12. Contains milk, soya, peanuts, macadamia nuts, pecan nuts, brazil nuts, pistachio nuts and sulphites. May contain wheat. Suitable for vegetarians.
We cannot supply a box that is free of nuts, and we cannot describe anything we make as gluten free.
The full ingredients list sits on each product page. If you are sending boxes to a list of people you do not know, send them the product page link along with the gift.
The £50 rule
HMRC's trivial benefits exemption lets an employer give an employee a gift costing £50 or less, including VAT, without tax or National Insurance falling due. The gift cannot be cash or a cash voucher, cannot be a reward for work or performance, and cannot be part of a contract.
Our boxes sit under that threshold, so a box given to a member of staff will usually qualify.
Check with your accountant. This is a description of a published HMRC rule, not tax advice, and your circumstances may differ.
Delivery
We deliver to Great Britain. We do not yet ship to Northern Ireland or the European Union.
Chocolate travels badly in heat. Between May and September we send by next-day courier with an insulated liner, despatch Monday to Wednesday only, and hold orders when the forecast at the destination is above 28 °C. We will tell you if we hold yours.
Ask us
Fill in the form below, or write to hello@clynt.uk if that is easier. Tell us the quantity, the date you need them and whether they go to one address or many.
[TBC: how quickly we answer. Only put a number here if it will be met every time.]
